How Much Does Junk Removal Cost in NW Georgia?

Short answer: our jobs start at $150, and you always get a free on-site estimate before we lift a thing. Here's exactly what moves the price up or down, so there are no surprises.

Everybody's first question is "what's this gonna cost me?", fair. Junk removal isn't a flat fee because no two loads are the same. A single old recliner and a whole-house cleanout are very different jobs. But the pricing logic is simple, and at Junk N' Your Trunk we keep it that way: no bull, no hidden fees, just an honest number before we start.

What Actually Determines the Price

Two things drive nearly every junk removal quote:

  • Volume, how much space your stuff takes up in the truck. Junk removal is priced by the truckload (or fraction of one), not by the pound. A quarter-truck costs less than a full one.
  • Item type, most household junk is straightforward. A few things take extra muscle or special disposal (mattresses, appliances with freon, hot tubs, heavy construction debris), and that can nudge the price.

A couple of smaller factors: tough access (third-floor walk-up, packed-in storage unit, muddy backyard) means more labor, and mixed loads with recyclables or donatable items sometimes save you a little because we don't pay to dump what we can donate.

Our Pricing, Plain and Simple

Here's how it works with us:

  1. Call or text and tell us roughly what you've got.
  2. We come out and give you a free on-site estimate, the real number, based on what's actually there.
  3. You approve it. That's the price you pay. Not a penny more.

All jobs start at $150. From there it scales with the size of the load. We'd rather quote you honestly on-site than throw out a lowball number over the phone and surprise you later, that's how the fly-by-night guys work, and it's exactly what we don't do.

Rough Guide by Job Size

Every job is quoted individually, but here's the general shape of it:

  • Single item or a few pieces (a couch, a fridge, a mattress), our $150 minimum covers most one-item pickups.
  • Garage, shed, or single-room cleanout, a partial truckload; priced by how full it gets.
  • Whole-house, estate, or foreclosure cleanout, one or more full loads; we'll walk it with you and give one clear number.
  • Construction or renovation debris, depends on weight and volume; contractors get a straight quote fast.

Why "Cheapest" Isn't Always Cheapest

You can find someone with a pickup truck who'll do it for less. But the cheap route often means an uninsured stranger, a price that "changes" once the truck's loaded, or your stuff dumped illegally down a back road. We're local, we're accountable, we quote honestly, and we dispose of everything the right way, donating and recycling what we can. That's worth the fair price.
